1. Overview
PureGuard is an AI-powered application designed to help identify and filter pornographic, nude, and other explicit visual content on supported Apple devices. PureGuard is designed so that content analysis takes place entirely on your device. We do not collect personal information or receive the content analyzed by the app.
2. Data We Collect
PureGuard does not collect personal data, browsing history, website addresses, photos, screenshots, videos, AI analysis results, device identifiers, location information, usage analytics, or advertising identifiers. We do not operate servers that receive your analyzed content.
3. On-Device Processing
AI content detection and filtering run locally on your device. Images and other content analyzed for filtering are not uploaded to our servers or to third-party cloud AI services. Content analysis does not require a PureGuard account.
4. Local Settings
PureGuard may save your filtering preferences and configuration locally on your device. These settings are not sent to us. Device operating-system behavior may affect how local settings are backed up or retained.
5. Third Parties and Apple Services
PureGuard does not integrate third-party advertising, analytics, or cloud AI services that collect data from the app. Apple may independently process information when you download the app, use App Store purchases, or interact with Apple operating-system services, under Apple’s own privacy terms.
6. Data Sharing and Retention
Because we do not collect personal data through PureGuard, we do not sell, share, or retain such data on our servers. You can remove locally stored app data by deleting the app, subject to the operating system’s storage and backup behavior.
7. Children’s Privacy
PureGuard does not collect personal information from children or adults. Filtering effectiveness and device coverage may vary; PureGuard is not a substitute for parental supervision.
8. Security and Limitations
Keeping analysis on-device reduces the need to transmit sensitive content to external servers. No software or content filter is guaranteed to be perfectly secure or detect every explicit image.
9. International Transfers
PureGuard does not transmit personal data or analyzed content to us or to external servers for content filtering.
10. Changes to This Policy
If our practices change, we will update this policy and its last-updated date. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
